Mahoney was first appointed as the First Ward Commissioner in
1989. In addition to serving on the Board of Commissioners,
Mr. Mahoney has served as President to the Board of
Commissioners from 1996 to 2000. Also, Mr. Mahoney is the
Chairman of the Building & Grounds, Insurance and Golf Course
subcommittees of the Board. |

A resident of Springfield since 1999, Mrs. Sage has served on
the Planning Commission for the past 5 years. Mrs. Sage also
serves on the Library and Insurance subcommittees of the Board.
In addition, Commissioner Sage is an active volunteer for the
Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation and National Breast Cancer
Coalition.

of Springfield since 1954,
Dr. Lee J. Janiczek was first elected
as the Third Ward Commissioner in 1976. Dr. Janiczek has
chaired Country Club, Library Board, Public Safety, Planning,
Park Board, Golf Course, Swim Club, Ice Rink and
Administration/Finance subcommittees of the Board. In 1987 Dr. Janiczek served as President of the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Commissioners and President of Board of
Commissioners.

Commissioner
Paul Wechsler has resided in Springfield Township,
he has been involved as a volunteer with a variety of
activities. He worked with the Springfield Youth Club and was
a softball coach in the Athletic Association, additionally
serving as the Judge of Elections for the 4th Ward, 3rd
Precinct. Commissioner Wechsler continues to help others by
Co-Chairing the Eastern PA Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma
Society charity golf outing.

past President of the Springfield Park & Recreation Board,

coached CYO football, softball and basketball, and
served on the Joint Comprehensive Plan Task Force for Land Use
