A resident of Springfield for many years, Michael has served on the Springfield Parks and Recreation Board and was a member of the Springfield Township Zoning Hearing Board before being elected Commissioner.  Michael was also a member of the Delaware County Housing Authority.  Michael has been a volunteer youth coach for the Springfield Athletic Association, Springfield Youth Club and St. Francis CYO.  He was also the Director of the Springfield Fund for the Elderly and is currently the St. Francis of Assisi CYO Board treasurer.

A resident of Springfield since 1999, Mrs. Sage has served on the Planning Commission for the past 5 years. Mrs. Sage also serves on the Library and Insurance subcommittees of the Board.  In addition, Commissioner Sage is an active volunteer for the Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation and National Breast Cancer Coalition.

A resident of Springfield since 1954, Dr. Lee J. Janiczek was first elected as the Third Ward Commissioner in 1976.  Dr. Janiczek has chaired Country Club, Library Board, Public Safety, Planning, Park Board, Golf Course, Swim Club, Ice Rink and Administration/Finance subcommittees of the  Board.  In 1987  Dr. Janiczek served as President of the  Pennsylvania State Association of Township Commissioners and President of Board of Commissioners.

During the 25 years 4^th Ward Commissioner Paul Wechsler has resided in Springfield Township, he has been involved as a volunteer with a variety of activities.   He worked with the Springfield Youth Club and was a softball coach in the Athletic Association, additionally serving as the Judge of Elections for the 4th Ward, 3rd Precinct.  Commissioner Wechsler continues to help others by Co-Chairing the Eastern PA Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society charity golf outing.

A resident of Springfield since 1982, Jeff Rudolph has served as President and Organizing founder of ET Richardson Middle School Boys Lacrosse Program, served on the Board of Directors for the Springfield Volunteer Memorial Wall Fund, Inc., Springfield Athletic Association-Boys Lacrosse Coach 7^th & 8^th Grades, Delaware County Parks Department, Chairman of Springfield Township UCC Board of Appeals, Springfield Township Community Center Task Force and the Delaware County Open Space Advisory Board.

A resident of Springfield for many years, Bob Layden has served as President of the Springfield Youth Club from 2004 until 2010, served as Flag Football coach for the 5 and 6 year old children from 2000-2001, 2002 to present he served as Assistant Football Coach for 7 and 9 year old children,  served on the Springfield Youth Club Board of Directors from 2001 to 2002 as equipment manager, he has been a member of the Greater Springfield Business Association since 2003 until present, served as an assistant to the Committeeman of the 6th ward since 2002 and  served on the Springfield Township Golf Advisory Board from 2009 to 2010.
