Common Violations:

• Refuse, recycling and bulk items cannot be placed out for pickup until sundown the day before the scheduled pickup.
• Containers must be stored behind the front building line.
• Containers must be removed from the street within 12 hours after pickup.
• Trees, bushes, shrubs, and plantings cannot block traffic signs, signals, or other objects.
• Height of plantings at an intersection can be no higher than 18″.
• Grass cannot grow any higher than 8″.
• Snow must be removed from the public sidewalk within 24 hours after the snow ceases to fall.
• No vehicle may be parked on the lawn. Parking is restricted to paved surfaces.
• Owners are responsible for the maintenance of curbs and sidewalks.
• House numbers must be 4″ high and visible from the street.

Commonly Requested Ordinance Information:

• No outdoor burning except for cooking.
• Regulations regarding the overnight parking of commercial vehicles at residential properties.
• Requires door-to-door solicitors to be licensed with the Township.
