Conservation Committee

Welcome to the Springfield Township Conservation Committee!

The Conservation Committee was reformed from the EAC as an Advisory Board to the Township Commissioners in the area of environment and conservation in Springfield Township. 

The Conservation Committee meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Township Building. Public participation is encouraged.

The mission of the Committee is split into 4 major categories:

  1. Education: Educating the residents of Springfield about the importance of Conservation
  2. Stewardship: Guiding the Township’s utilization of natural resources
  3. Sustainability: Assisting the Township in environmental sustainability
  4. Beautification: Helping to make Springfield Township a beautiful place to live
