POSTPONED – Board of Commissioners Special Meeting (Coventry Woods/ChristianaCare)
UPDATE (5/27/25) –
The Board of Commissioners special meeting scheduled for this evening regarding the Christiana Care land development application has been postponed to Wednesday, June 4th at 8:00 PM at the Springfield Country Club. The rescheduling is due to ongoing discussions between the applicant and neighboring residents, who are working through their attorneys to address outstanding issues. In land development matters, allowing time for parties to negotiate and resolve disagreements before presenting an application to the Board of Commissioners is a prudent and constructive approach.
At the request of stakeholders of the community (neighbors of the property and with the consent of the applicant), the Springfield Township Board of Commissioners will be holding a public meeting on May 27, 2025 at 7PM at the Springfield County Club located at 400 Sproul Road. The applicant, Christiana Care, will present the proposed and final land development application for the property located at 351 North State Road, otherwise known as Coventry Woods. The applicant will provide this presentation with their experts and professionals to the Board of Commissioners for consideration. Also, at this meeting there will be public hearing to review and consider the TND 5 Overlay Zoning Amendment. During this time there will be opportunity for public comment on the matter.
