Springfield Township Conservation Committee’s Bird Watching Event

May 13 @ 8:00 am - 9:00 am

Join us on a birding adventure! On May 13th at 8:00 AM, we will be meeting at Walsh Park in search of migrating birds. Bring your binoculars but also keep your ears open since spring is the time for songbirds to find their mate by singing loudly and flashing their bright new feathers. Springfield’s parks are nesting grounds for many birds but are also an important stopover for birds that traveled hundreds or even thousands of miles on their way up north. Our guide, John Zygmunt, is a member of the Conservation Committee and of the Birding Club of Delaware County. He can be reached at () with any questions. We hope to see you there.
