DESCRIPTION:IMPORTANT UPDATE: \nWith the forecast for excessive heat and after discussions with the Office of Emergency Management’s Director\, we have decided to cancel tomorrow’s 4th of July Parade.  We simply cannot risk the safety of the entrants or attendees.  We apologize to all for any inconvenience this may cause and would like to extend a special thank you to this year’s Grand Marshal\, Bill Smeck\, for his understanding. \nThe Volunteer Wall Ceremony\, scheduled to begin at 8AM will proceed as scheduled\, as per the Volunteer Wall Committee. \nStay safe\, Springfield! \n  \n  \nThe Springfield Township 4th of July Parade will be here before we know it!  If you or your group is interested in signing up to participate in the parade\, please register at https://springfielddelco.portal.opengov.com/categories/1079/record-types/6544.
